A 175+ Year Relationship
Our raw fragrance materials are sourced from a family with more than 175 years in the fragrance trade. Theirs has been a craft at the heart of Indian attar-making for generations, and it is this relationship — not a decorative story — that anchors every bottle Yaktara makes.

The Deg-Bhapka Method
No Thermometers. No Shortcuts.
Long before modern distillation equipment, attar was captured using deg-bhapka — a copper still connected by a pipe to a cooling vessel, condensing directly into a base of pure sandalwood oil. There are no digital controls in this process.
A master distiller reads it by touch, by smell, and by the sound of the water — knowledge passed down through a family, not written in a manual. It is this same unhurried method, unchanged for generations, that shapes every Yaktara attar.
